Supply’d V5.1: AI Forecasting, Advanced Barcoding & Performance Reporting
Version 5.1 focuses on precision. From predicting your next big sales week to scanning complex barcodes with a single click, we’re giving you the tools to reduce manual entry and eliminate guesswork in your operations.
Supply’d Intelligence: AI Forecasting (BETA)
We’re thrilled to launch our most advanced forecasting engine yet. While our previous trend engine served as a reliable baseline, the new AI engine factors in a massive array of external data points to provide hyper-accurate predictions.
The new forecasting engine now considers:
- Weather Patterns: Anticipate how heatwaves or rain affects your sales.
- Public & School Holidays: Automatically adjust for long weekends and term breaks.
- Temporal Trends: Advanced logic for day-of-week and time-of-year fluctuations.
You can switch to the new AI forecast at any time within your Product Settings. To help you dive even deeper, we’ve also introduced New Product Stats. You can now view rate of sale, margin, and estimated sell-through data on a single, unified screen for every product.
New Barcode Support: GS1 & Price Embedded
Scanning just got a lot smarter. We’ve added support for both GS1 and price-embedded barcodes to speed up your warehouse workflows.
- Weight-Based Barcodes: When receiving stock with price-embedded barcodes, Supply’d now automatically calculates the equivalent weight.
- Fast Stocking: During a stocktake, choose the "Recount" option to scan items rapidly—Supply’d will handle the math to calculate your total weight on the fly.
- GS1 Compliance: For suppliers using GS1 barcodes, we now automatically extract and assign expiry dates, batch numbers, and weights during the receiving process.
Note: To use these features, ensure your products have the relevant GTIN/SKU added to their profiles. Some configuration is required for GS1 barcode scanning on our scanners, get in touch with your account manager for the details.
New Performance Reports
Data is only useful if you can find it. We’ve added three major reporting views to give you total visibility over your inventory and team:
- Pick/Pack Reports: Deep dive into your fulfillment speed and accuracy to identify bottlenecks in your dispatch process.
- Inventory → By Feed: A single, filterable view of every single stock transaction made across your entire business. Total transparency for every movement.
- Write-off → By User: Easily track which team members are writing off stock to better manage waste and accountability.
Minor Improvements & Bug Fixes
As always, we’ve been busy under the hood. V5.1 includes a significant number of refinements and bug fixes to ensure the system stays fast and reliable as you scale.
